At the beginning of this year, Ryozo Tsujimoto has promised that the upcoming adventure of Monster Hunter World, the first on PC, will enjoy free post-launch updates. Now, the game's producer has revealed that these updates will also contain new monsters.

Speaking with the Japanese publication Famitsu, Tsujimoto specified how he wants to move Capcom:

We are thinking about the free post-launch updates of Monster Hunter: World. What I can specifically say is that we plan to add new monsters in the hope that users will play for a long time. Regarding the type of monsters that will be added and so on, the information will be shared later. As it is, Monster Hunter: World is scheduled for January 26 for consoles but does not yet have a concrete launch date on PC.
