Announced on PlayStation Blog referral to Gran Turismo Sport. Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital announced:
We are announcing that today we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Gran Turismo Sport exit. GT Sport is Polyphony's first competitive racing game and both fans and our team have very high expectations of its success. From the beginning, this title immediately proved to be one of ours more ambitious projects, taking advantage of the most innovative technologies such as physics-based rendering and acoustic simulations, and the Photo Panoramas mode. Completing these features with the new Sport mode, we have succeeded in proposing a competitive gaming experience that redefines the genre of racing games. Every time we shared a video game, we were impressed by the incredible response of all the fans. However, as the release date, set for November, became closer, we realized that we needed to more time to perfect GT Sport, to which we had devoted all of our energies since the announcement of the game, and we did not want to compromise right in the final stages. Although at this time we can not confirm a new release date, we are all giving ourselves to make GT Sport the best game in the Gran Turismo series ever. GT Sport will continue to be presented in many international events dedicated to video games. I hope that all fans will have the chance to experience in person the innovative yet unpublished experiences offered by GT Sport. We thank you for your continued support.
Currently we are not aware of the new release date, but suppose GT Sport can be released by 2017
