That's right! During the presentation event of Nintendo Switch held this morning in Tokyo, Nintendo surprised gamers with the announcement of Splatoon 2, sequel to the shooter released on Wii U in 2014. Yes, it was therefore decided to opt directly for the sequel, rather than a port of the first title. Waiting for new details on the game mechanics, we have available the official presentation video.

It will obviously be the online multiplayer, but you can also bring your own Nintendo Switch for the local multiplayer. Nintendo also confirmed that Splatoon 2 will include support for smartphones: they will be useful to improve matchmaking of online matches and to support voice chat in the best possible way. As for the launch date, there is talk of a generic summer 2017 (as also written on the description of the previous video).

Then Fra, are you happy?
