An unexpected announcement, in the evening of yesterday, that given by Rockstar through the official FB page of the game: Red Dead Online will do. Unexpected, sure, but certainly not unexpected. GTA V (Red Dead Redemption even earlier) made school and, on the contrary, the creation of a different or "traditional" multiplayer section would have been much more unlikely. Let's go into the details of the press release and summarize the information that interests us.
Red Dead Online will use, of course, the universe and the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2. Just like for GTA Online, it will be the subject of continuous updates making it, in fact, a title in itself, enjoyable alone or with friends. RDR 2 exits the 26 October, RDO will only be available from the beginning of November, initially as public Beta. Access to RDO will be FREE to all holders of a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2.
It will be interesting to understand if and how it will differ from GTA Online, hoping that features and truly innovative content could be added.
