The 4 May is Memorial Day (Dodenherdenking) in the Netherlands and at 20: 00 CEST there will be two minutes of silence throughout the nation. Visitors are asked to respect it in all public spaces, such as railway stations or central squares. The 5 May, however, will be held for Liberation Day (Bevrijdingsdag) celebrations. Visitors are asked to take these events into account during their stay

Unfortunately, the Russian champions, Ye Olde Guard, are unable to attend the event in Amsterdam. The teams in this group from 2 teams will both receive a bye for access to the final stage. They will then confront each other in a single game to determine who goes to the final stage.

To determine who will be the European champions of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in Amsterdam, qualified teams will be divided into 4 groups, with the first 2 teams from each group moving into the quarter-finals stage. For all the details, please refer to the official tournament rules.

The winning team will not only be crowned European champion, but will retire with a trophy and the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch Pro Controller made for the occasion. The champions will also represent Europe at Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 8 June will be held in Los Angeles.
