In recent weeks Netflix he announced that he would produce a film about the brand Ubisoft The Division with Jake Gyllenhaal e Jessica Chastain in the cast. After the announcement, however, there was practically no talk of the project, so much so that the word had spread on the web that the film had been deleted, but apparently it is not. The same director David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw) has in fact recently released interview where it confirms that the film will be made, explaining that at the moment the script is in progress, but we are still in the early stages of writing.

So let's not expect to see any news about it soon, since the project still seems to be in a very embryonic stage. We know neither a launch window nor what the film will cover, but since it was announced that the film would be set in a "Manhattan bent by a pandemic", it is expected that the feature will resume the facts, or at least the setting, of the first chapter of The Division brand.
