Microsoft and the Xbox brand say goodbye to Mike Ybarra. Ybarra leaves the company after a career spanning 20 years.

If you are an Xbox fan you certainly know Mike Ybarra, one of the key figures of the big X brand. Mike greeted his TeamXbox colleagues for supporting him and helping him over the years.

Obviously Ybarra has not forgotten of fans, greeting the community through several tweets: "After 20 years at Microsoft, it's time to start a new adventure" writes Ybarra "It was a great experience with Xbox and the future looks brighter than ever. I thank all TeamXbox, I am deeply proud of what we have achieved and I wish you the best. Soon you will know what awaits me (I am super excited)! "

"But the most important thing is that I want to thank you dear gamers and our fans for all the support. Keep playing and we hope to see you again soon! " continued Ybarra. Over the years, Mike has seen his responsibilities grow, becoming a leading figure for Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass and Mixer.

For now, Microsoft has not released any comments on who will take the place of Ybarra, or in general on the fact that it leaves the company.

Mike Ybarra's farewell came unexpectedly, almost like Shawn Layden's statements by Sony Interactive Entertainment Studios who said he was ready to leave Sony in the coming months.

Speaking of resignations, you've heard that Sony is preparing a large number of licenziamenti?
