Among the releases of this month on Nintendo Switch there is the detail Lydia, a narrative game based on the real experiences and the "tragic childhood memories" of its developers.
In the game, players experience the story of a child who lives with "drunk and frail" parents, with "graphics, music and emotional dialogues" that are said to be present everywhere. It is a short adventure, with an average playing time that seems to last about an hour, but the asking price is only € 4.
It was launched on Steam in 2017, getting "very positive" reviews. The trailer above should give you a better understanding of what you will actually see during the adventure.
Speaking of trailers, a second video was also shared by the game's publisher, Nakana.io. He talks about the "Lydia Donation" DLC package which actually acts as a fundraiser for the "Fragile Childhood", a non-profit organization that prevents damage caused by parental abuse. The DLC will cost € 1, with all net revenue earmarked for Fragile Childhood. In return, players will receive an in-game coloring book for Lydia.
