The creator of Metal Gear Solid e Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima, said he wanted to work on multiple projects together as well as his next "big game", included manga, anime, episodic titles and digital games only.
Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa gave an interview for the February 6 edition of Famitsu, translated by DualShockers, in which they talked about the studio's fourth anniversary, as well as other small projects they also had in mind. Kojima, however, admitted that "Not sure he will be able to handle" the additional workload.
The couple also reported concerns about why some perceive Death Stranding as "strange", as they don't think you know. They also added to hear "The need to create much stranger games".
After the release of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima revealed that he is watching horror films again in order to create "the scariest horror game". A great clue for the next title.
Kojima admitted that during the development of PT - the playable teaser that turned out to be a secret ad for a brand new game from Silent Hill, Silent Hills, which will never see the light of day - hired the Thai horror The Eye but was even "too scary to finish". And it is undeniable that PT, however small, had immense potential.
