A few days ago, Activision Blizzard games have been removed from the GeForce Now catalog, the home cloud gaming platform Nvidia.
As reported by Bloomberg, the titles would have been removed at the explicit request of the Santa Monica publisher. This is because the two companies would never have signed any type of commercial agreement to make the titles available in the service catalog.
Nvidia spoke of a simple misunderstanding, since he thought the previous agreement regarding the beta phase of the service was automatically extended to the current period, where GeForce Now is still in the trial phase.
“Activision Blizzard was a fantastic partner during the GeForce Now beta, which we thought also included the free trial period for our founder users. Recognizing the misunderstanding, we removed their games from our service, with the hope of being able to work with them to make them available again in the future ".
