In the past few hours the console version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has received a highly anticipated Update which finally allows PlayStation 4 players to form party along with who owns the game on Xbox One.

Although the cross-play for PUBG on consoles already existed for some time, until today it was possible to meet players with another console only in the loosely filled lobbies, and therefore we could not form teams with users on different platforms.

The feature, together with a brand new friends list, is however only present on the Private Test Server (PTS), and developers are expected to introduce the change on regular servers in the coming weeks.
