After the bulky controversy over the backward compatibility of PlayStation 5, Microsoft also seems to want correct the shot on the matter with its Xbox Series X.
Until now, the official statements made by the press office of the Redmond company seemed to indicate one full and total compatibility of the next flagship console with any title distributed in the Xbox environment. To date, however, we are aware that this function is still being tested and that at launch "thousands" of securities will be able to take advantage of this possibility.
Correction: To date, we've spent over 100K hours testing your favorite games from Xbox One, including existing backward compatible 360 & OG Xbox games, on Xbox Series X. While we are still in the process of validating, we can confirm thousands of games will be playable at launch.

Also according to what was stated in the official Twitter profile, backwards compatibility with games developed on the first two consoles branded by Microsoft could only concern i titles already compatible with Xbox One.
We are not talking about an epochal loss, also because of the number of games available on Xbox Series X it still seems very high, but still remains a stain in communication of the division headed by Phil Spencer, so far impeccable.
