PewDiePie, the famous Swedish content creator, confirmed to have signed a exclusive agreement to broadcast their streaming content only on YouTube.
The historical character of the video sharing platform will not broadcast live on any other service, actually going against the trend with what has usually happened in recent years. In fact, many creators have chosen other platforms for their streaming content, some even reaching the definitive abandonment of YouTube.
“YouTube has been my home for over a decade and streaming live on the platform seemed like the natural choice. I keep looking for new ways to create content and interact with fans around the world. Streaming is therefore something I am focusing on in 2020. Being able to collaborate with YouTube and being at the forefront as regards all the new product features is truly stimulating "
Despite the problems and the heavy controversy of the past years, PewDiePie seems decidedly convinced by the proposal made by the US company.
