Today's news is definitely thead of Unreal Engine 5 by epic Games, which however was not limited to this. The American company has in fact announced that from today and retroactively starting from 1 January 2020, all revenues before the million dollar mark will not be taxed by any royalty.
Excellent news especially for small and medium developers, who can now use the Unreal Engine 4 (and in the future the 5) at no cost, for free, up to a million dollars in revenue. Considering that Epic retains 5% of the revenues from each copy sold, tens of thousands of dollars more will arrive in the developers' coffers than in the past.
All of this is obviously done for encourage developers to use the proprietary graphics engine, but (justified) interests aside, it is definitely one news that all development studios will appreciate.
