We know, the quarantine period caused by the COVID-19 has led many of us to shut ourselves up inside our homes. For players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, was also an opportunity to express their creativity in the creation of increasingly beautiful and welcoming houses and islands. Someone, however, bypassed the safe zone of the Nintendo title and found a way to make the game interact with a Buttplug.

What you are seeing is a small demo of the script created by buttplug.io and downloadable on GitHub. How does it work? In an earth-ground manner, through an interface installed inside a Raspberry Pi and that acts as an intermediary between the Buttplug and the Nintendo Switch. Through this connection it is possible mark the input for vibrating the toy to a certain action in the game - in this case the simple excavation of a hole.

Find out more about the complete procedure - which does not require any hardware and / or software modification of the console - here is a rather extensive video of Buttplungy 'With qDot.
