Monster HunterSony Picture has officially postponed the release of thecinematographic adaptation by Monster Hunter to 2021. The release of the film, inspired by Capcom's action, was initially scheduled for September 4, but the date of arrival in theaters has been relocated to 23 April 2021.

The main causes of the postponement are the exit of A Quiet Place 2, also scheduled for September 4, and the obvious complications from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Monster Hunter movie, directed by Paul WS Anderson it went into production in October 2018 and filming ended in December of the same year. They are part of the cast Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil), Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak) and Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy).
