For the first time in a long time, fans have had their wait first look a Halo Infinite during the Xbox Games Showcase yesterday. First impressions vary from enthusiasm for the game to strong disappointments for the incomplete technical sector and for some choices made by 343 Industries, such as the inclusion of some open-world mechanics absent in the rest of the series. A small and curious insight has arrived in the last few hours through the youtuber Alanah Pearce, who had the opportunity to try the demo shown in the trailer and have a chat with the developers.
According to what Pearce reported in his video, Halo Infinite should have been out long ago, but the launch date has been postponed due to the criticisms against Halo 5 and the direction taken with the latter title. 343 Industries has in fact decided to take more time to make sure that this last chapter was much more tied to the former (and the most loved), distancing itself from all the most detested elements of the most recent titles. In practice, Infinite should be a sort of "reboot" of the original Halo, of course with some news - we're looking at you, grappling hook. The confirmation that the build shown in the trailer is oldand that therefore the technical problems have already been largely fixed.
