With PS5 behind the corner, Sony has recently revealed PS4 peripherals that can also be used on the new PlayStation console. Among them, the DualShock 4 will have significant limitations.

According to the last post of the official blog, the main controller for PS4 will be backward compatible with PS5, allowing you to play your PS4 titles with the same original feeling; however, the controller cannot be used within new titles developed for PlayStation 5.

A choice that made many players turn up their noses and that - in terms of communication - was vague and confusing. Obviously, many of the new titles in development will use the functions of the new one Dualense, but it seems strange that a controller with the same inputs as the previous console cannot be used within titles multiplatform.
