The leaks continue on Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. After the upgrades for the new generation of consoles, campaign details, the release date and even when multiplayer will be revealed, is now also touched on the beta start date.
Modern Warfare's in-game store was the first source to leak a date, October XNUMX, as the start date of the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War beta for PS4. The same date was then shared by the COD store: WW2, giving the news further credibility.
As already announced the beta will first be available on PlayStation 4, to then follow on the other platforms. Although the schedule of the other release dates has not yet been revealed, we can still get a plausible idea.
Assuming a beta of two weekends, the beta for pre-orders on PS8 would be held between 9 and 4 October and the open beta between 10 and 12. For Xbox and PC users it is reasonable to assume a closed beta the following weekend, between the 15th and 16th, to then reach a total open beta on 17.
Such programming would follow that of the beta of Modern Wafare, held last year. A three-weekend schedule is less likely, as it would get very close to the November launch date.
