Netflix has momentarily suspended filming the second season di The Witcher.
According to the site Deadline, the reason for this stop is due to Coronavirus positivity found in four members of the staff present on the London set, which at the moment they are not about the cast.
Netflix immediately took action isolate all the insiders for the show, including the cast.
The executive producer and show runner confirmed the stop of the second season Lauren Hissrich, through a tweet:
Hey, the world is turned upside down - so thanks for the love and support for our little corner of it. We Witchers are okay. The health and safety of our crew and their families come first, and we will do whatever we need to do to protect them. We'll be back soon. Xx

It's not the first time that work on the second season of The Witcher has stopped: in March, the actor Kristofer Hivju it turned out positive at Covid-19, with the consequent resumption of work at 17 August.
The series got a enorme succeso, enough to induce Netflix to be able to confirm a prequel by Title Blood Origin.
However, we are waiting for this second season to land on the streaming platform for half of 2021, although this may no longer be so certain.
