Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has already become the best-selling musou ever, surpassing 3 million copies distributed.
This was announced by the Japanese magazine Famitsu, the new Koei Tecno / Nintendo crossover is having a resounding success and by no means consoling to the genre it belongs to. No musou had ever reached such a milestone, especially considering that the title has only been on the market for five days. Here is the tweet of thanks of the official profile of the game:
『ゼ ル ダ 無双 厄 災 の 黙 示 録』 の 全世界 累計 出 荷 本 数 が 300 万 本 を 突破 い た し ま し た。
皆 様 、 誠 に あ り が と う ご ざ い ま す。

In the tweet we thank the players for their support and for having contributed to the goal of 3 million copies, remembering that the demo is still available in the Nintendo store.
Definitely a revenge for a genre, especially in the West, very hated and underestimated.
