Insomniac Games has recently released a new patch for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the standalone expansion dedicated to the second spiderman of the house PlayStation. This new patch will add a new graphics option to ensure players enjoy the technology Ray tracing at a higher framerate.

This new RayTracing Performance Mode is accessible through the in-game options and as mentioned above, guarantees a stable framerate of 60fps and the use of Raytracing, but at what price? In fact, it seems that activating this option limits the rendering resolution of the game, which it switches from 4K to 1080p. "A price to pay for reflections" many would say.
Of course, this new update is available exclusively on PlayStation 5, the only Sony home console able to exploit these graphic features. Furthermore, it appears that this update does not affect the performance of the Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered.
