The investments of Tencent, the Chinese entertainment giant, in the gaming sector do not seem to stop. After replenishing the coffers of Platinum Games, here comes a capitalization of about 30 million dollars within Dontnod.

With this maneuver, the Asian holding was awarded a minority package of software shares specialized in interactive adventures. Recently on the market with Tell Me Why, Dontnod has proved to be one of the most solid realities within the gill of the type of products offered (let's remember the sad story of Telltale).

The operation does not put Tencent in any position of control over the developers, but rather allows a certain degree of freedom and the possibility to escape from the various Square Enix and Xbox Game Studio which, for better or for worse, have somehow conditioned the ' operated by the software house to date.
