4A Games, the developer behind Metro Exodus, has recently published a post on Steam page of the game, confirming the arrival by the spring of a improved version for PC, capable of harnessing the power of new GPUs capable of supporting the Ray tracing.
According to the developer's words, the development of this version required a revision of the 4A Engine game engine, leading to a radical graphic improvement. The cost of this improvement? In case you already have the Steam, GOG and Epic Games version of the base game, Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition will be available for free and you just have to go to the page dedicated to the upgrade to redeem it, when it comes out during the Spring 2021.
But if you don't have a RayTracing GPU (and DLSS in the case of Nvidia), minimum requirement to be able to run this version sparkling of Metro Exodus in a dignified manner, stay away.
