In the past few hours the European Commission ha officially given the green light to Microsoft products for the completion of the acquisition process of Zenimax, a necessary step for the commercial operation from beyond 7 and a half billion dollars respect the rules of the European anti-trust.

The European institutions have therefore expressed themselves in favor of the merger of the companies, allowing the process to move forward without reservations or conditions of any kind.

With the approval of the Commission, the complex bureaucratic process for the passage of Zenimax studios under the aegis of Microsoft is now in the pipeline, marking one of the largest and most expensive acquisitions in the history of the gaming industry.
