Bravely Default II has a well-hidden secret ending in the Adventure Prologue. Don't expect anything pleasant though.

The new title made in Square Enix allows you to win an apparently impossible clash in the prologue, the one with the swordsman Adam. There are two ways to beat him, grind beyond belief in the early stages of the game by bringing the characters to level 30, or start a game in New Game + with characters already leveled. But what happens when you defeat Adam? You can see it with your own eyes in this video:

Winning will definitely boost your ego, but it will not allow you to continue the adventure. You will in fact be forced to restart your adventure and lose as expected against the seemingly invincible Adam. In short, a secret ending that is not worth living in first person.

We remind you that Bravely Default II is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch
