Rocket League is a title that has undoubtedly conquered the gamer public over the past five years. Now Psyonix is ready to expand its success with a mobile chapter that has recently entered development.
Sideswipe, this is the official title, will try to adapt the iconic gameplay of the original chapter to a mode of use more suitable for the mobile market.
"Rocket League Sideswipe uses mobile controls that are easy to learn, whether you are a master of the game or a new player who is still learning to be on the pitch" reads the announcement on the official website, "In addition there will be advanced mechanics, exactly as happens in Rocket League, for all those who want to climb the competitive ranking".
The game will offer short-lived 1v1 and 2v2 challenges of a couple of minutes and a wide range of customization possibilities for your vehicle has already been confirmed, just like in the standard version for PC and console.
Rocket League Sideswipe will be available for Android and iOS by the end of 2021 and will adopt the free to play model. A very first Regional Alpha (Android only) will launch today for users residing in Australia and New Zealand.
