The protests of the players seem to have finally arrived loud and clear in the ears of the development team, which has finally decided to pay attention: it is in fact coming a new dedicated patch for the Steam version of NieR: Automata.

“An upgrade patch for the Steam version of NieR: Automata is currently in development. We will have more information to share with you later ”.
The game was back in the headlines some weeks ago, when the inclusion of the game in the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass had raised the protests of the players who had bought the game years ago on Steam. The popular uprising, however, was not due to the arrival of NieR: Automata in the Microsoft service, but to the very bad condition in which the game is in its version for the Valve platform, an edition studded with problems (for the most part unsolved) for years now.
To grab the attention of Square Enix, gamers have massively focused on bombarding the game with negative reviews, in order to symbolically express their dissent for a title that came out in a better version on the Game Pass while the Steam one remained in neglect for too long.
Whether it was review bombing or just getting closer to launching NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139, the goal of the players was achieved with the official announcement of this new upgrade for NieR: Automata, welcomed by them with evident enthusiasm and a hint of relief.
