In the past hours Respawn Entertainment announced via profile Twitter Apex Legends official that the popular free-to-play Battle Royale has officially crossed the line 100 million players.

The milestone was reached in approx two years from the official launch of the title on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (and from a few weeks also on Nintendo Switch). Obviously, it should be noted that the 100 million players does not necessarily mean that they are all "active users", therefore not counting double accounts or people who have lost interest in the title.

However, the game continues to be very popular even on the main streaming platforms, and EA and Respawn do not seem absolutely willing to abandon support for the title in the near future, also given the continuous (and constant) arrival of new ones. Seasonal updates e Legends in the Battle Royale.
