Niantic has recently announced the latest news on upcoming updates of Pokémon Go, the app that allows you to enter the world of pocket monsters through augmented reality. The game currently hosts most of the National Pokédex (except for some shortcomings from recent generations) and during the month of May will welcome two new Legendary Pokémon: Xerneas and Yveltal.
Here is what Niantic itself describes in the Pokémon Go official blog:
"Soon a legend will light up our world: Xerneas, the Creation Pokémon, and Yveltal, the Destruction Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debut during the event. Bright Legends X e Bright legends Y. Additionally, some Fairy-type and Dragon-type Pokémon discovered in the Kalos region will be available, such as Spritzee, Swirlix, and the matchless Goomy, as well as a new tool: the rain lure module, which can be used to evolve Sliggo, the evolution by Goomy, in Goodra. You can also evolve Sliggo when it rains in the game. "
The first Bright Legends X event will run from 4 to 17 May 2021 and with the Bright Legends Y event starting soon after.
