Waking up has the dollar in the mouth, especially at home Tencent. The Chinese investment firm has indeed plans to expand further its footprint within the gaming market, through the total acquisition of Sumo Digital for well- 1,3 billion dollars.
The news comes directly from the pages of GameIndustry.biz, which first reported the details of Tencent's offer and the modalities of this acquisition. The Chinese giant would like to increase the percentage of its shares at Sumo Digital, passing from 8,75% al 100% thus becoming the sole owner. If successful, the acquisition will take place through the subsidiary Sixjoy Hong Kong Limited.
