Nintendo 64 games could go to 50Hz on Nintendo Switch as they did on the original console.

Announced during the Nintendo Direct, the titles for the historic Nintendo 64 console will arrive at the end of October on the Nintendo Switch, but there could be a problem for us Europeans. As shown on Twitter, the part of the Direct dedicated to this virtual console it was different in America and the UK (therefore europe in general).

The European trailer was in fact reproduced in PAL format, and not in NTSC format as in the USA. On the original console the European games, therefore PAL format, went at 50Hz, that is they ran slower compared to the overseas counterpart which instead went to 60Hz. It is very likely that this treatment will also be replicated on the upcoming virtual console, therefore, even if Nintendo has not yet clarified the matter.
