It's official: God of War finally arrives on PC. The Santa Monica Studio masterpiece had made its appearance a few hours ago on SteamDB and the appearance of the game's official page was not long in coming on the Valve store.
Il GOTY 2018 arrives on the platform with a whole series of special improvements, as you can read in its "Features" section right on Steam:
“Amazing graphics enhanced by your PC. Enjoy true 4K resolution by leveraging supported devices, [MU1] plus unlimited frame rate for maximum performance. Fine-tune your setup via a wide range of graphics presets and options: higher resolution shadows, improved SSR setting, ability to add GTAO and SSDO, and much more "
Confirmed support for NVIDIA DLSS, ultra-wide monitors and full compatibility with Dualshock 4 and DualSense even on PC.
God of War will be available from January 14 2022 and will be sold at the price of 49,99 euros both on Steam and on the Epic Games Store. The arrival of a work of this caliber therefore confirms Sony's very clear intention to open up to new markets, starting with the export of the Playstation brand also on PC, which has already begun with the previous publications of Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
