Deathverse Let It DieDuring the State of Play held by Sony yesterday evening it was presented Deathverse: Let It Die, new title published by GungHo.

This is the sequel to Let It Die, original title made by Grasshopper Manufacture by Goichi Suda and released in 2016 on PS4 and in 2018 on PC, from which it takes some of the characters. The game is set several centuries after the first chapter and deals with the Death Jamoboree, a survival reality show that takes place in the virtual world called, precisely, Deathverse.

from first impressions, the title seems to make a change of course compared to Let It Die, which presented itself as an atypical action RPG that winked at soulslike, veering towards dynamics more attributable to the world of battle royale while maintaining the original style and thus introducing the multiplayer, present only asymmetrically in its predecessor.

Deathverse: Let It Die will be free to play and is scheduled for 2022 on PS5 and PS4. It is made by Supertrick Games, GungHo's internal studio that for years had taken over the management of the first Let It Die while Grasshopper Manufacture gradually moved away from the Japanese publisher, until the definitive passage under the wing of Netease occurred in the last few days.
