In the past hours Sarah Arellano (who previously worked at Blizzard e Volition) he has announced through their Twitter profile that they have officially assumed the position of new Lead Writer at Beyond Good and Evil 2. Ubisoft's project has practically disappeared from the scene after its (premature) re-reveal in 2017, and even though the original creator of the brand Michel Ancel has left the video game industry for good, it seems that the development of the title is finally moving forward.

Ubisoft has not been doing well lately, and after the cancellation of Ghost Recon: Frontile and Splinter Cell VR (plus the delay of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora next year), hear news about Beyond Good and Evil 2 it can make fans of the saga breathe a sigh of relief, as something behind the scenes is actually moving for the project.
