In recent days, several leaked artworks of the phantom new chapter of Assassin's Creed had begun to circulate, and Ubisoft, spurred on by the latter, has therefore announced officially the title of the game: Assassin's Creed Mirage.

The game, as visible from the artwork, appears to be set in Persia and as the protagonist will most likely have the killer Basim (which we already met in Valhalla). At the moment, however, these details have not been confirmed by Ubisoft itself, and therefore to find out more we just have to wait for the actual reveal of the title at the next Ubisoft Forward scheduled on 10 September.

Is it finally a return to origins?
